1-من الذى يفيض على اسرائيل بروح النعمة؟
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn
“It is well according to him who explains that the cause (of the mourning [in Zech. 12:10] ) is the slaying of the Messiah the son of Joseph, since that well agrees with the Scripture verse: “And they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son.”(1)

All the heathen shall look to me to see what I shall do to those who pierced Messiah, the son of Joseph.(3)
بلمعرفة ماذا افعل لاؤلئك الذين طعنو المسيح ابن يوسف
There are a number of important points about this passage. First, the term “piercing” usually indicates death (4)
Interestingly, the piercing likely refers to the death of Christ, though the word does not specifically mean crucifixion

Interestingly, a fascinating quote from the Talmud in Succah 52a indicates that this is a Messianic text, “Why is this mourning in Messianic times? There is a difference in interpretation between Rabbi Dosa and the Rabanan. One opinion is that they mourn for Messiah Ben Joseph who is killed, and another explanation is that they mourn for the slaying of the evil inclination. It is well according to him who explains that the cause is the slaying of the Messiah since that well agrees with this verse.
If it refers to the slaying of the evil inclination, it must be asked, is this an occasion for mourning? Is it not rather an occasion for rejoicing? Why then should they weep?(5)
Carson summarizes the text quite well, “Perhaps the best way to understand this is that the people have killed a historical figure, who was the Lord’s representative, and in doing so they have pierced the Lord himself.”[6]
يلخص كارسون النص بشكل جيد،” ولعل أفضل طريقة لفهم هذا هو أن الناس قد قتلوا شخصية تاريخية، الذي كان ممثل الرب، وبذلك طعنوه الرب نفسه”
سوف نحزن على المسيح الذى سوف يقتل
Referring to Zech 12:10-12, “R. Dosa says: ‘(They will mourn) over the Messiah who will be slain.’ (7)
Rashi in his commentary to Sukkah 52a (11th c.) also noted that the Rabbis interpret the text as referring to slain Messiah ben Joseph.(8)

‘They shall look unto Me, for they shall lift up their eyes unto Me in perfect repentance, when they see Him whom they have pierced, that is Messiah, the Son of Joseph; for our Rabbis, of blessed memory, have said that He will take upon Himself all the guilt of Israel, and shall then be slain in the war to make atonement in such manner that it shall be accounted as if Israel had pierced Him, for on account of their sin He has died;
and, therefore, in order that it may be reckoned to them as perfect atonement, they will repent and look to the blessed One, saying that there is none beside Him to forgive those that mourn on account of Him who died for their sin; this is the meaning of ‘They shall look upon Me’.(9)
وهم يرونه الذى طعنوه وهذا هو المسيح ابن يوسف……….سياخذ على نفسه كل ذنب اسرائيل……

ترفع عيونهم لى فى توبة الكمال,سجي ان ينظرو الى,…….وهذا هو المسيح ابن يوسف……….يحم لعلى عاتقه ذنب اسرائيل….كما لو كان اسرئيل قد كعنته…….وعلى حساب خطاياهم قد مات
